Tschudi Palace, Chan Chan

This is the only palace open for visitors in the complex of Chan Chan.

Original fish in relief in the adobe walls, miraculously not washed away by El NiƱo events, though much of the rest of the site is reconstructed and hundreds of thousands of dollars have been spent on stabilizing the architecture here.

Some fun birds and the characteristic diamond walls of Chan Chan.

One of Chan Chan´s walk-in wells. It has a whole ecosystem now, but the Peruvians had to get it back up and running.
